Cold weekend

Started out okay I guess, we got (and by we, I mean Sara) the house ready for Nora to learn the potty. Unfortunately, no one told Nora. We tried for pretty much the whole morning to get her to check if she was dry and use the potty. She loved having Pooh go pee, but Nora was still content to wet herself. She even told Mom that she was dry when it was obvious she wasn't. So, Nora's not ready, we'll regroup and try again in a few months.

Mowed the lawn, perhaps for the last time. Next time will just be to vaccuum up the leaves, whenever those bad boys fall.

I still have 20/20 vision, but apparently am starting to suffer from C.U.S. or Computer User Syndrome. Summary: Blink more, get up for 10 min every hour.

Bob Evans makes a good Pumpkin Pie, but careful when they serve it to you... it's hot.

I totally feel you on the potty training situation. Mia is content to sit in a wet diaper for hours, and even when we suggest that she might need one, she yells "NO!". She's also quite good lately at telling us when she's gone poopy. So randomly in Church or at the mall, she'll start yelling "POOPY! POOPY!" Sometimes she's gone, sometimes she hasn't... but she still hasn't figured out that she's supposed to tell us BEFORE she goes.

This potty training business is harder than it looks.

Nora's the same with poop. She usually tells us way before, and it's just a wet diaper. then a while later we will just smell it, or she'll say it again, this time messing with the diaper to show us she did. She's not helpful there as she doesn't make any of the key signs of messing her drawers, she just does it and lets us figure it out.
