My lawn is so dead
Not dormant, not the normal "all brown but will be back next year" but "patches are starting to show dirt and cracked earth.
I could water yes, but I'm home sporadically, and it would last well past 10 to water my whole lawn, and I'd like to be asleep by then. Also the need to take the dog out makes it interesting. I am also busy keeping my trees and bushes alive, which is no easy task either.
So funny, that earlier this year we had so much rain it was pouring down the sides of my house in rivers, and now it's so blasted hot you'd think we were in Pheonix.

You know, you could get sprinklers and put them on a timer.
don't have the money to install a sprinker system, but it is on my "to-do" list.
if it was just sprinkers you can hook onto the hose, it still requires me to maneuver them every 30 minutes to cover the whole lawn which would be 3-5 hours.
